Asus on Thursday launched its new gaming laptop in India, named ROG G701. The device is launched with the price tag of Rs. 3,49,990 and will be available in ROG Armor Titanium and ROG Plasma Copper colour schemes.
The main highlight of the laptop is high-end configuration to meet the needs of pro gamers and 17.3” wide-viewing-angle display, which comes in in full-HD and 4K UHD resolutions along with a a 120Hz refresh rate with Nvidia G-Sync.
To delever high quality graphics the Asus ROG G701 equiped with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card, coupled with 8GB of GDDR5X video RAM. It is able to run three displays simultaneously, using HDMI, Thunderbolt, and Mini-Display connectors, thanks to its Trinity Display Technology and 4K2K tech. For superior audio experience it comes loaded with ESS Audio DAC.
The Asus ROG G701 gaming laptop comes with the ROG Gaming Center portal that contains options such as monitoring and fine-tuning system components, managing game profiles, keyboard profiles and macros, display, and audio equaliser profiles.
Asus in a press statement adds that another highlight of the ROG G701 gaming laptop is its ‘C Part’ asymmetric keyboard, which features a palm rest layout. This, the company claims, makes the ROG G701 “one of the most ergonomically designed laptops, and lets users type and use the touchpad and keypad with greater comfort.” The keyboard features anti-ghosting technology with 30-key rollover.
