On Tuesday, The BlackBerry KEYone has been launched in in partnership with manufacturing and distribution partner .  The smartphone is priced at Rs 39,990 and will be available exclusively on from August 8.

The biggest highlight of the is hardware QWERTY keyboard which has a fingerprint sensor on the space-bar and a capacitive touch on the entire keyboard for scrolling. Now without a further ado let’s quickly jump on specifications, as mentioned earlier the Blackberry KEYone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system and sports a 4.5” IPS LCD (1080×1620 pixels) display with 433ppi and 3:2 aspect ratio that comes with the protection of corning gorilla glass. The smartphone is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card.

In terms of optics, the Blackberry KEYone has a 12MP rear camera with a IMX378 sensor and features an f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, EIS, and dual-tone LED flash. On the front, it bears an 8MP camera with an f/2.2 aperture and an 84-degree wide-angle lens. The smartphone is powered by a 3505mAh non-removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support along with a ‘Boost’ charging feature which is said to charge the smartphone from zero to 50 percent in just 30 minutes.

Connectivity options of Blackberry KEYone include dual-SIM support, , dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) 802.11ac, NFC, GPS/ A-GPS, v4.2, FM radio, USB Type-C (3.1), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board the smartphone include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, and a proximity sensor. It measures 149.3×72.5×9.4mm, and weighs 180 grams.
