On Wednesday, Lenovo has launched a new smartphone in its ‘Note’ series named Lenovo K8 Note. The smartphone is the first Lenovo-branded offering from the company to feature a dual camera setup. The K8 Note comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, priced at Rs 12,999 and Rs 13,999 respectively.
The smartphone will be available exclusively via Amazon India starting from 18th August at 12 PM. The device comes in in Fine Gold and Venom Black colour options.

Coming on specifications, the Levono K8 Note runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system, interestingly K8 Note runs on stock Androide rather than Lenovo’s Vibe Pure UI. The smartphone features a uni-body 5000-series aluminium design and sports a 5.5” full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection.The smartphone is powered by 64 bit deca-core MediaTek Helio X23 chipset with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.85GHz, and two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.3GHz. As mentioned earlier the device offers 3/4GB RAM with 32/64GB internal storage respectively which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
In terms of optics, the Lenovo K8 Note sports a dual rare camera setup including a 13MP sensor along with another 5MP sensor, which enables the smartphone to capture depth-of-field effects like Bokeh. It also comes with a dual-LED CCT flash. On the front, there is a 13MP camera with LED flash for talking better selfies.
Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS / A-GPS, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It also bears a fingerprint rear on the back panel, below the dual camera setup. The device is powered by a 4000mAh non-removable battery with fast charging support; it comes bundled with 15W rapid charger in the box. The battery is cliams to deliver up to 24.7 hours of talk time, and 378 hours of standby time. The K8 Note measures 154.5×75.9×8.5mm and weighs 180 grams.
Other features include, The Company is touting the smartphone’s Dolby Atmos support for improved audio performance. There’s also a dedicated Music Key on the smartphone, which allows users to launch the music app, and control playback, based on shortcuts.
