Moto G5S and G5S Plus Launched with Improved Cameras Features

On Tuesday, finally unveiled G5S and Moto G5S Plus in the . The price starts from €249(Rs. 18,900 approx) and €299 (Rs. 22,700 approx) respectively. Both the smartphones will become available for purchase in various countries starting from this month.

According to company the the new smartphones offer several upgrades over their predecessors Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. In terms of design both the smartpones looks similar to older ones. The Moto G5S & G5S Plus also offers metal body with rounded corners. There is a fingerprint scanner underneath the home button that sits below on the front panel. The duo will be made available in Lunar Gray and Blush Gold colour options.

Moto G5S

The Moto G5S runs 7.1 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.2” full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It offers 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

In terms of photography, the Moto G5S sports a 16MP rear with an f/2.0 aperture along with improve phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and LED flash. On the front, there is a 5MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture along with wide-angle lens and LED flash support.

Connectivity options include dual-SIM support (for selected markets), LTE connectivity, Micro-USB, 4.2, GPS, 802.11 a/b/g/n, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

The smartphone is powered by a 3000mAh battery which comes with a TurboPower feature, company claims that it will provides 5 hours of power with just 15 minutes of charging.

Moto G5S Plus

Moving on to the Moto G5S Plus, the bigger one also runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.5” full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display. The smartphone is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC. It offers 3GB/4GB of RAM along with 32GB/64GB storage options respectively which is further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

In terms of photography, the Plus verant of the two offers an updated camera module which include two 13MP sensors with f/2.0 aperture, and dual tone LED flash. On the front, there is an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture along with wide-angle lens and LED flash support.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE connectivity, Micro-USB, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include proximity sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

The bigger variant is also powered by a 3000mAh battery battery with a TurboPower feature that is claim to provides users with 6 hours of power with just 15 minutes of charging.
