On Wednesday, Panasonic has announced a new smartphone in India called Panasonic P9. The new device is a budget smartphone priced at Rs. 6,290 and will be made available in Champagne Gold and Black colour options via offline retail channel.
Coming on Specification, the Panasonic P9 runs on Android Nogout operating system and sports a 5” HD (1280x 720 pixels) IPS Asahi Dragon Trail display. The Smartphone is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 processor and offers 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
In terms of photography, the smartphone features an 8 MP rare camera with an f/2.0 aperture along with LED flash support fot better low light capturing. On the front, it has a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture for taking selfies and making video calls.
The Panasonic P9 is fueled by a 2210mAh battery which could hardly stay for a day. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, OTG support and micro USB port. Sensors on board include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, and Ambient Light Sensor.
