Xiaomi on Monday launched the Mi Note 3 along with 2. The smartphone comes in two variants – 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 6GB with 128GB internal storage priced at 2499 Yuan (Rs 24,498 approx) and 2899 Yuan (Rs 28,420 approx) respectively. Notably the Blue colour of 128GB variant is priced at 2999 Yuan (Rs 29,400 approx). The smartphone will go on sale in from Friday, September 15; bookings will start on Monday itself.

The Mi Note 3 features a 7-Series aluminium alloy body with round edges and 3D curved glass on the front and rear. It sports a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) with a pixel density of 403ppi and a 94.4 percent NTSC color gamut along with Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

The Mi Note 3 runs on runs on 7.1 Nougat with over the top, and powered by a up to 2.2GHz 64-bit Snapdragon 660 octa core processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. As mentioned above it offers two memory options – one is 6GBRAM/64GB storage and second is 6GBRAM/128GB storage. The Internal storage is not expandable any further.

The Mi Note 3 sports a dual rare setup which includes two 12MP sensors, one is wide-angle lens with an f/1.8 aperture, and the second is a telephoto lens with an f/2.6 aperture. It also comes with 4-axis OIS and offers 2X optical zoom for clear close-up photos. On the front, there is a 16MP camera with f/2.0 aperture with features like ‘adaptable Beautify’ options. The feature uses AI-based algorithms to beautify selfies, and has a different algorithm for men and women.

The Mi Note 3 is fueled by a 3500mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0 using the USB Type-C port. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, LTE, dual-band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) 802.11c, v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, infrared sensor, and proximity sensor.Other features include IR Blaster for controlling home electronics like AC and TV. It measures 152.6×73.95×7.6mm and weighs 163 grams.
