Battlefield Mobile Open Beta Testing Begins; Here’s Everything You Need to Know

EA has announced Open Beta testing for Battlefield Mobile in select region. Starting from November 8, 2022, players from Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore will be able to take part in the Open Beta test. There’s a catch though, only players with Android devices will be able take part in the Open Beta, as iOS support hasn’t arrived yet.

Pre-Registration

Players will have to wait for the pre-registration for the game to be available in the region on the game’s Google Play Store page. After pre-registration is completed, players will then have to wait again for the test to be available in the region and then they can download Battlefield Mobile.

Free-to-play

Battlefield Mobile is going to be a free-to-play title, and the game will earn money from the incorporation of Battle Passes, cosmetics and unique unlockables. Players need not worry as the game does not include any pay to win items.

Battlefield Mobile Requirements

As we all know, Battlefield Mobile is still in development and is in the process of being optimized for various devices. As mentioned earlier, the beta can only be run on an Android device, and these are the minimum specs needed:

  • Android 8.0 or later
  • Snapdragon 835 or better
  • Exynos 9 (8895) or better
  • At least 3 GB RAM
  • At least 2 GB of storage space
  • Must be a 64-bit system

Battlefield Mobile Beta Test Content

Players have been wondering what they might experience during the beta testing period of the game. The game will include common modes such as Conquest and Rush. In terms of maps, players will see the Noshahr Canals and Grand Bazar. They will also be able to commandeer vehicles such as Tanks. Here’s what Industrial Toys has stated about the experience players can expect in Battlefield Mobile:

  • Fight for control of the AO in Conquest,
  • Advance your front line in Warpath,
  • Sabotage and defend MCOM stations in Rush,
  • Battle to the last soldier standing in Team Deathmatch,
  • And test your mettle in a variety of special modes, some yet to come.

Moreover, player will be able to pick from four classes that have been present in the franchise – Assault, Engineer, Support and Recon. They will strive towards ranking up to unlock unique abilities, gadgets, items and specializations. Event Hub and Command Center should be checked daily for assignments and challenges. Players will be allowed to capture video and screenshots during the Open Beta test.
