AirTag helped another user to find a lost car
Apple’s tracking device also helped another user to locate and recover his stolen car in Canada. Earlier, the user lost his first Range Rover to a thief and later bought an identical unit to replace the stolen vehicle.

This user’s first Range Rover was never found by the police. To prevent tracking, the thief ditched the owner’s wallet and family members’ phone out of the vehicle before driving off.
So, to secure the second unit, the SUV owner attached three AirTag trackers in the Rover. These tracking devices helped the user to locate his vehicle, which was later recovered by the police.
