Danniella Westbrook close to heart attack as she addresses concerns over hospital dash | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV
In a video, Danniella Westbrook was seen inhaling gas and air and appeared to have scratches all over her face in the back of an ambulance taking her to hospital. Her emergency dash came after she told fans she had been suffering from seizures and passing out.
The 49-year-old has since issued an update about her health woes, telling fans she was very close to having a heart attack.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the ex EastEnders star shared a video of her in a hospital bed, alongside the caption: “Septics, strep A and constant temperature off 39.8.”
In the early hours of the morning, she added: “Huge thank you to Whipps Cross and the NHS, who have managed to get me stabilised.
“They informed me if I’d of left it til the morning, I would of had a heart attack.

Sw_mcfarlane3533 added: “Plenty rest n hugs. Get well soon lovely xx.”(sic)
Babbssarah commented: “Get well soon Danniella. Have lots of rest xxx.”
Before her hospital dash, she told fans she had been experiencing seizures, but didn’t know whether to seek help.
On Tuesday, she said: “I keep passing out and occasionally having seizures… it’s scaring the hell outta me.
“I have come on to get some advice from people because I keep passing out and every now and again I am having seizures. I keep getting blackness over this side of my face.
“I’m sweating hot, burning up but I am freezing cold. And my throat is so bad.
“I can’t get anything to go down. I just keep crying, you know when you are that ill and you just keep crying. I want my mum and I am 49.”
The actress went on to say she was in two minds about ringing an ambulance as she didn’t want to waste anybody’s time – luckily she did!
