Akshay Kumar Collaborates with Popular Gaming Influencers Such As Mortal, Scout and More to Promote a Mobile Game

Several popular gaming creators from across the country met with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar last month. However, details about their meeting were scarce at the time. Now, some of the creators have uploaded videos featuring the actor on their YouTube channels. These videos have revealed that they worked together to promote Ram Setu: The Run mobile game.

As spotted by AFKGaming, MortaL, Scout, and Alpha Clasher posted videos with Akshay Kumar on their channels. At first glance, the videos posted by the creators do not appear to be promotional in nature. However, the final segment of each video is devoted to promoting the mobile game.

The video titles are about how the content creators got to meet the Bollywood star. Then, the creators go on to reveal that they met Kumar to play the mobile game together. This game is based on the action-adventure film Ram Setu, which was released in October 2022.

Ram Setu movie stars Bollywood stars including Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Satya Dev. It centers around an archaeologist who is studying the ancient land formation known as Ram Setu, or Adam’s Bridge. The film follows the archaeologist as he uncovers the secrets of this mysterious structure.

Ram Setu opened to negative reviews from critics. Despite its high budget of Rs. 150 crores, the film only managed to gross Rs. 93 crores at the global box office, making it a financial failure. It’s interesting that the game is being promoted now, when it released on the Play Store in October, the same month as the film.

While the game appears to offer the same gameplay as other endless running games, it also includes a unique split screen mode that allows two players to compete against each other simultaneously.

In the videos posted by the creators, they use tablets to play the game in this mode because the small display of a phone would make it difficult to see both screens at the same time. This added feature makes the game more engaging and competitive.
