PlayStation Wrap-up shows how much time you really spent playing games | Gaming | Entertainment

Sony is back with its annual PlayStation Wrap-up for 2022. From now until January 13, PS4 and PS5 users can login to the PlayStation Wrap-up site and check out their gaming highlights for the entire year. Of course, if you spent as much time playing video games as we did, it might be better not to know exactly how many hours you pumped into games like Elden Ring (176 hours).

Sony explains more: “2022 brought us plenty of new adventures, lands to explore, and friends and foes to meet.

“Whether you spent the most time exploring the nine realms with Kratos and Atreus or navigating a unique dystopian world as a stray cat, relive these gaming moments and celebrate your year with PlayStation’s 2022 Wrap-Up.”

In addition to showing how many hours you spent playing different games, the PlayStation Wrap-up feature shows how many Trophies you earned, and the number of different titles you played.

If you’re a PS Plus member, it will also show you how many PlayStation Plus games you downloaded on a monthly basis.

The ability to share your stats means you can compare your achievements with friends, while the PlayStation Community feature reveals more about the most popular games of 2022.

“You can also view the monumental stats achieved collectively by the global PlayStation community in 2022, including the number of Thunderjaws felled in Horizon Forbidden West, total miles driven in Gran Turismo 7, and the total number of axes thrown in God of War Ragnarök,” Sony continues.

“At the end of the 2022 Wrap-Up experience, you’ll receive a Summary Card that you can share and compare with other players.”

My personal top-five games of the year were Elden Ring at number one, followed by the likes of Sifu, King of Fighters XV, Sonic Frontiers and God of War Ragnarok.

It will be interesting to see how this compares with the best of 2023, and whether any PSVR 2 games make the top-five.

Street Fighter 6 and Final Fantasy 16 are also likely to feature, and perhaps more Elden Ring, especially if FromSoftware releases any DLC.
