Redmi K50i smartphone receives a price cut in India: New price, offers and more

Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi K60 series of smartphones soon. Now ahead of the launch the company has slashed the price of its mid-range gaming smartphone — Redmi K50i in India. Launched in July this year, Xiaomi has slashed the price of both the variants of the Redmi K50i smartphone. The new price of the smartphone is reflecting on the official online store of the company.
New price and offers
Xiaomi launched the Redmi K50i in two variants — 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB priced at Rs 25,999 and Rs 28,999 respectively. The smartphone has now received a price cut of Rs 2000 and customers can now purchase the 6GB version at Rs 23,999 and the 8GB variant at Rs 26,999. Buyers can purchase the Redmi K50i in Phantom Blue, Quick Silver and Stealth Black colour options.
Along with this, Xiaomi is also giving some offers to customers who wish to purchase the Redmi K50i. Customers can avail 10% instant discount on Indusind Bank credit cards. An instant discount of Rs 1,500 is also available on credit cards of ICICI Bank. The company is also giving an exchange offer of up to Rs 16,500 on Redmi K50i.

Redmi K50i specifications
Redmi K50i sports a 6.6-inch FullHD+ display with 1080×2460 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and comes with Dolby Vision support. The display is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The mid-range smartphone comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.
Redmi K50i runs Android 12 operating system topped with the company’s own layer of MIUI 13. The 5G-enabled smartphone comes with an IP53 rating which makes it water-resistant. Redmi K50i comes equipped with an IR sensor and stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.
The smartphone features a triple rear camera which comprises a 64MP main sensor with f/1.89 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera is also capable of recording 4k videos. The selfie lovers will get a 16MP front shooter with an f/2.45 aperture.
Redmi K50i is backed by a 5080mAh battery which comes with 67W fast charging support.
The company claims that the smartphone can charge up to 50% in 15 minutes and up to 100% in 46 minutes. The Chinese smartphone maker is giving a charger in the box that also has 27W PD support.
