Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been in development under the care of Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment for quite some time now. It was believed earlier that the game would be releasing in 2022, alongside the sequel to the movie. However, it was later revealed that the game will not be releasing in 2022 anymore, and the developers were looking towards a 2023 or even a 2024 launch window.

Last we heard about the game was through an industry insider Jeff Grubb. According to him, the gameplay was still pretty janky, but it is visually ‘pretty’. This is a promising update, as everyone wishes for a good-looking title. Furthermore, Grubb stated that the game is still early in development and the team will have to work out a ton of stuff out before opting for a release.

Recently, as spotted by InsiderGaming, it seems like the gameplay details for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora have leaked on Reddit. The leak was found on popular subreddit r/GamingLeaksAndRumours. The person responsible for posting these details was u/Eht_Hctins and this user has been responsible for several leaks in the past.

The post has been deleted since then, confirming our suspicions that this was indeed gameplay details for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. For those who weren’t able to get to the post in time, the user spoke about the creatures, crafting, quests and more about the open world game.

He stated that players will be able to tame creatures, who can aid them for traversal as well as fighting. Players can loot and craft in the game. The open-world is also dynamic and it changes as your progress, like the weather, which changes accordingly. There is also an innovative way for how quests are introduced. Rather than having markers, players will have to explore in order to find them.
