Samsung has launched a new 5G smartphone in the Galaxy A series in India – the Galaxy A23 5G. The Galaxy A23 5G succeeds the Galaxy A23 4G, which was launched last year in India. The Galaxy A23 5G comes with a 90Hz display, Snapdragon 695 chipset, 50MP quad-camera setup, and more. Here’s everything you need to know about Samsung Galaxy A23 5G.
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G: Price and availability in India
Samsung Galaxy A23 5G comes to India for a starting price of Rs 22,999. There are two storage configurations – 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB – priced at Rs 22,999 and Rs 24,999, respectively. Customers can avail of a Rs 2,000 discount with SBI, HDFC Bank cards, and ZestMoney on the purchase of Galaxy A23 5G.
The Galaxy A23 5G will be available across Samsung exclusive stores, Samsung.com, and partner stores starting January 20. However, customers can purchase the smartphone through Samsung Live on January 18 from 12 PM.

The Galaxy A23 5G features a 6.6-inch LCD panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone comes with Gorilla Glass 5 protection on the front, while the back is made of polycarbonate. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Galaxy A23 5G comes in three colours – Silver, Orange, and Light Blue.
Powering the Galaxy A23 5G is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 processor. The processor under the hood comes paired with 128GB of internal storage and 6GB/8GB of RAM. The Galaxy smartphone runs Android 12-based OneUI 4.1.1, with the promise of 2 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates. The smartphone boasts a 5,000mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging. However, the charger retails separately.
The Galaxy A23 5G comes with a quad-camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 5MP ultrawide, and a pair of 2MP macro and depth sensors. The smartphone is capable of recording 1080P videos at 30fps. On the front, the smartphone features an 8MP camera for selfies.
