Riot Games has just released Valorant Patch 6.01. This is a smaller update compared to the previous ones, check out all the changes below:

Lotus Map Updates

Through the latest patch, players will instantly see that the volume of the rotating doors have been reduced in Lotus. The next change for the map is that Lotus-only queues do not exist anymore. Finally, the map is also now included in Unrated and Competitive map rotations.

Game Modes Updates

The only game mode that has been updated is Replication. Through the latest patch, Replication will no longer exist in the Modes queue. This removal is temporary and players will still be able to play it through the custom game option.

Bug Fixes

Agents

  • It seems that Riot Games were only able to find one bug among the Agents and that was for Killjoy. After the recent patch, Killjoy’s Nanoswarm attack will not deal more damage to destructive objects than intended.

Gameplay Systems

  • Firstly, the developers have fixed an issue with the third-person visual indicator, as it was not in sync with an Agent’s head during the flash duration. This will no longer be the case.
  • A bug that made Spike invisible and unequippable when changing from Defender to Attacker in custom game has been fixed.
  • Another Spike bug where players were not able to plant it after reconnecting to the match has been fixed too.
  • Lastly, a bug that prevented Marshall from full reloading between shots when auto-scoping was enabled has been fixed as well.

Maps

  • All bug fixes for maps were for Lotus. The first fix removes the boost exploit that players could use from the back of B Site.
  • Players will not get stuck between the rotating doors anymore. Also Breach will be able to use their ability on both rotating doors.
  • The destructible door located at A Link now has working vision cones. Spike can no longer get lost in the back of A Site and broken Spike plant spot for the same location has been fixed too.
