It looks like Call of Duty is set to receive a live-action TV series. The first set of images surfaced on the internet at a time when several video games have received adaptations to bring these stories to life on the screen. Looking around, The Last of Us is the most notable and recent example that continues to break existing records for HBO. Will Call of Duty also get the same treatment?

According to leaks by YouTuber Capo del Mondo, (via Italian site Uagna), Italian directors and production houses from the country who have worked in the past with Amazon Prime Video are involved.

The series is yet to be officially announced, but the leaker has provided some photos from the project. These images suggest that many well-known characters from the Modern Warfare games will be part of the unannounced live-action Call of Duty series.

The leaked photos of the Task Force 141 members include Lieutenant General Shepherd, Captain John “Soap” MacTavish, Lieutenant Simon “Ghost” Riley, Sergeant Gary “Roach” Sanderson, and Captain John Price.

There is also a photo of what appears to be a female hostage. It is not known what role she will play in the story, or what the show’s plot even is. According to the leaker, each episode will have a runtime of about 15 minutes.

It is important to note that this is currently just a rumor. It is best to take this information with a grain of salt until there is official confirmation from the show producers or the creators of the game. Considering the episode runtime, it is also likely that this is a fan-made live-action series instead of Amazon Prime-backed production.
