March 12, 2025, 02:58 AM PDT – Victoria Goodwin, married to Aaron Goodwin of the television series Ghost Adventures, was arrested on March 6, 2025, in Clark County, Nevada, on suspicion of soliciting and conspiring to commit murder. Authorities claim that Victoria Goodwin sought to hire an individual to kill her husband, a prominent figure on the paranormal investigation program.
The arrest stems from an investigation that uncovered text messages between Victoria Goodwin, 32, and an inmate at a Florida prison, according to New York Post. The messages, obtained from an illegal cellphone confiscated by prison officials, allegedly included plans to murder Aaron Goodwin, 48, while he was filming Ghost Adventures in California during October 2024. Police records state that Victoria Goodwin proposed a payment of $11,515, with an initial deposit of $2,500, and shared information about her husband’s whereabouts, as reported by TMZ.
Victoria Goodwin and Aaron Goodwin were married in August 2022 at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion in Anaheim, California. Following her arrest, Victoria Goodwin was detained at the Clark County Detention Center with a bail set at $100,000 and appeared in court on March 11, per Los Angeles Times. She informed investigators that she did not recall sending the messages and maintained that the funds were intended for purchasing cellphones rather than hiring a hitman, according to The Wrap.
Aaron Goodwin, who has appeared on Ghost Adventures since its premiere in 2008, told TMZ that he was unaware of any marital difficulties prior to his wife’s arrest. Zak Bagans, the show’s host, stated to Los Angeles Times that the incident has affected the production team. Authorities have not disclosed further information about the investigation or potential additional suspects at this time.
