It’s been a while since we last received anything new from CD Projekt RED for Cyberpunk 2077. The game received its last update back in September 2021, which has already made fans angry as the existing bugs and technical issues remain unfixed.

For the First Since October 2021, Cyberpunk 2077 Steam Build Has Been Upgraded

As spotted by some of the fans on SteamDB, Cyberpunk 2077‘s Steam build has apparently been upgraded to a new version for the first time since October 2021.

This could be a big hint on an upcoming update for the game, which could either be the anticipated next-gen patch, or a smaller preparing update for the bigger drop.

Either way, fans would be happy to hear anything new about the Cyberpunk 2077 next-gen update and CD Projekt RED’s plans for the future of the game. With the arrival of the next-gen patch, fans could probably expect some new content drop as well, including a tease from the promised post-launch expansion of the game.

Although there is a slight chance for this one, we might also get an update on the state of Cyberpunk 2077‘s multiplayer section this year, which was postponed after the game’s disastrous launch back in 2020.

The Polish developer is also aiming to launch the Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt for next-gen consoles this year.

Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is playable on PS5, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S through backward compatibility.
