Kate Middleton and Prince William have made their first joint public engagement of the year. The royal couple visited London’s Foundling Museum, which tells the history of the Foundling Hospital, established in 1739 as a home for children whose mothers could not care for them.

Kate initially became the patron of the museum in 2019 as part of her work raising awareness for young children.

She cut an elegant figure today as she joined Prince William to learn more about the care sector during a visit to the Foundling Museum.

The Duchess gave royal fans business chic as she stepped out for the event this morning.

She styled her hair in beautifully wavy locks for the occasion.

The Duchess wore a sleek black polo neck top with matching black trousers.

Kate chose her favourite pair of £130 Jigsaw trousers.

The Duchess then recycled one of her favourite long-line navy coats for the day.

Her trousers were accented with a choice of a stunning belt with a bright, gold buckle.

Another royal fan account for The Cambridges, @loveforcambridg, said: “Aw how great to see them looking so stylish!

“I needed this.”

One more fan, @gofollie wrote: “Love to see them doing a joint engagement!”
