The Persona cafe in Japan will honor every game in the series

I never forgot!

If you’ve always wanted to visit a Persona cafe, you might get the chance soon enough. Sega of Japan is running a collaboration event this year for roughly over a month.

So the event kicks off at the fifth floor of Sega Collaboration Cafe at Akihabara on February 12, running through March 27. There’s a small catch: there’s actually going to be three events in one in this overarching collaboration, with three menus.

Interestingly, the entire thing is not going to be just filled with Persona 4 and Persona 5 items. Nope, the first two games actually make it in, and Persona 3 is the one that gets the short end of the stick (despite it being the most favored game for a long while). I was lucky enough to experience Persona from the start, and watch its runaway success like a proud parent once it really blew up in the west with Persona 3.

Of course, Persona 4 runs away with it, as there’s an entire period (March 12-March 27) where everything is P4-themed, including a Teddie pancake plate. Now that’s smart marketing!

After all of this is said and done with the Persona cafe on March 27, it’s going to come back on May 28 through July 10: so if you miss it, there’s another chance. Plus, this won’t be the last time we see a Persona collaboration in Japan!
