Shilpa Shetty expressed gratitude towards Gauahar Khan for supporting her sister Shamita Shetty, who is currently a contestant in Bigg Boss 15, hosted by Salman Khan. Shamita was age-shamed in the show, following which Gauahar put out a tweet supporting the actor and slamming the ones who carried out the “Disgusting behaviour”.
Replying to Gauahar’s tweet, Shilpa wrote, “Thankyou @GAUAHAR_KHAN for being so vociferous. Takes a strong woman to take up for another, That you are #respect Never give up on 3 things. Your family, your heart or your Dignity. @ShamitaShetty so proud, you showed grace under fire #ShamitaIsTheBoss #ShamitaShettyForTheWin.”
Replying to Shilpa, Gauahar in return sent love for her mom and wrote, “God Bless! She’s done well! Much love to your lovely mum!”
During a task in the reality show, Shamita was giving a massage to Karan Kundrra, who happens to be Tejasswi’s boyfriend post which Tejasswi indirectly commented on Shamita’s age and called her “aunty”. “Lo aunty chadh gayi us pe bhi (Aunty is after him as well),” she said while passing a message to Pratik Sehajpal and making reference to Shamita giving a massage to Karan.
Following this incident, Gauahar had posted a tweet that read, “Disgusting behaviour. It just keeps getting worse. Calling someone aunty is still proof of your insecurity but chadh gayi uspe is sheer filth of someone’s mindset. #shamita was such a sport. You can’t teach dignity, it’s inbuilt. #bb15.”
Bigg Boss 15 will come to an end this week with the finale going to take place on January 29 and 30.
