New Leaks Reveal Plans for the Filming of the MCU Reboot of Daredevil Later This Year

Spider-Man: No Way Home opened up the multiverse to the MCU fans for the first time by showing the amount of opportunities Marvel now has to expand its franchise.

With appearances of both the villains and heroes of past live-action versions from the Spider-Man franchise, it seems like both Marvel and Sony have plans to spinoff multiple projects involving their characters.

This includes Charlie Cox’s Daredevil, who made a surprising appearance as Tom Holland’s lawyer in the movie. Following his addition to the MCU, fans of the character have been begging with Marvel to continue his TV show, which originally debuted on Netflix.

Recently, the Netflix Marvel franchises underwent some major changes when they were pulled off the streaming platform in favor of Disney+. Since then, fans have clamored for the show to continue with a fourth season on their new home, and it seems like Marvel have heard their prayers.

According to popular leaker KC Walsh, Daredevil will be returning with a fourth season as part of the show’s reboot for the MCU. His sources have mentioned that filming begin later this year, which suggests that Daredevil will arrive on Disney+ sometime next year.

Charlie Cox has stated that the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen will make another appearance in the MCU, and this seems to suggest that he would arrive sooner than expected

It’s unclear how the show will fare on the new streaming platform, as it’s very likely that the showrunners will have to ditch its R-rated format for a PG-13 rating. While Cox prefers the R-rated action of the Netflix version, the reboot should still satisfy the show’s fandom.

While fans want to take this rumor with a grain of salt, leaks and the actor’s statements regarding Daredevil’s return should make them feel hopeful as they await for the big official news from Marvel itself.
