Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi sent their fans into a frenzy by announcing their collaboration on Selfiee. The movie is an official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Driving License. Recently they shared the teaser on their social media handles and ever since there has been a spiking hype clinging to the plot and storyline of the movie. It was earlier on Thursday when director Raj Mehta and Dharma Movies announced that Selfiee has officially gone on floors.
Social media was abuzz as Emraan uploaded his own selfie and director Raj penned down a heartening note for the producers ( Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta) and the team. Raj also shared a few photos from the set of Selfiee on his social media account.Underneath the photo he wrote, “As I begin another journey, there are a few people I have to thank! @karanjohar and @apoorva1972 for placing their trust in me one more time and being the best bosses EVER. @akshaykumar for letting me collaborate with him again and being a guiding light. @shashankkhaitan for always being there, absolutely selflessly. @therealemraan for being a part of this journey and placing his belief in the story. Dharma Movies also announced that the film was officially starting with a tweet which read as “Day 1 of #Selfiee & we need all your love, blessings and good vibes!”
