Popular TV and film actress, Rubina Dilaik tells us what should be on the to-do list if you are planning a trip to Bhutan or Dubai. Her itinerary is sure to make your Monday blues disappear. Where are you off to today?
Bhutan, because it has so much to offer. The roads are great, the mountains are a treasure. The way people conduct themselves also makes it one of my favourite destinations.
What’s on the itinerary?
We enjoyed our drives and hikes in the mountains. You must visit certain peaks, they are breath taking. Drive down or rent a bike.
What’s on the menu?
Shiitake mushroom with local cheese. They have a variety of rice that must be tried.
Your fondest travel memories with friends and family…
All the memories we created have been the fondest. Once we had taken a trip to Canada with Abhinav (Shukla, husband) sister Jyotika and mum and dad, we spent 20 days there with my other sister Rohini. I love travelling with family.

What are you packing for the trip?
It depends on the weather. I love carrying some books on long flights, I also carry my I-pad and download movies that have been recommended to me.
