Okay, admit it. There was no way you had the Borg Queen (Annie Wersching) helping out Picard (Sir Patrick Stewart) and his crew fix time to prevent the Confederation (nice twist there, by the way) from ever existing on your Star Trek: Picard Season 2 scorecard. But that’s what we had last week, yet another example of just how dire the “test” Q (John de Lancie) has in play for Picard. And from what we can see from the following preview package for this week’s episode “Assimilation,” things aren’t going to get any smoother. Because when time-traveling back to 2024 Los Angeles is the easiest part of your mission, you’re in for a world of hurt. The series is produced by CBS Studios in association with Secret Hideout and Roddenberry Entertainment. For season two, Stewart Alex Kurtzman, Akiva Goldsman, Terry Matalas, Heather Kadin, Aaron Baiers, Rod Roddenberry, Trevor Roth, Doug Aarniokoski, and Dylan Massin serve as executive producers. Goldsman & Matalas are co-showrunners for this season.
