NEW DELHI: Samsung Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A33 5G are now official in India. Samsung has expanded its Galaxy A-series lineup in India with the launch of Samsung Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A33 5G smartphones. Samsung Galaxy A73 5G sports a 108MP main camera and an AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy A33 5G comes with a 90Hz AMOLED display and features a quad-rear camera setup. Both the new Galaxy A-series smartphones come with an IP67 rating which makes them dust and water-resistant.
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G and Galaxy A33 5G price and availability
Samsung has not yet revealed the price and availability of the two smartphones. Samsung Galaxy A 73 5G comes in Awesome Gray, Awesome Mint, and Awesome White colour options. Whereas, the Galaxy A33 5G can be purchased in Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Peach, and Awesome White.
Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy A73 5G will be available for pre-booking in the coming days on Samsung.com and the leading retail stores in the country. The 5G-enabled smartphone comes in two variants — 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB. Along with this, the company has also confirmed that it will reveal the price and availability of the Galaxy A33 5G in the coming days.
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G specifications
Samsung Galaxy A73 5G sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers 120Hz refresh rate and is protected with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The smartphone comes with dual SIM support and runs Android 12 operating system topped with Samsung’s own layer of One UI 4.1. Samsung Galaxy A73 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor paired with 8GB of RAM.
The 5G-enabled smartphone comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB. Users can further expand the storage up to 1TB by adding a microSD card. Samsung Galaxy A73 5G sports a quad-rear camera with a 108MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, f/2.2 aperture, a 5MP depth sensor and a 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. The front is home to a 32MP selfie camera.
The smartphone comes with a water-resistant design and is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery with 25w fast charging support.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G specifications
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G is powered by an octa-core Exynos 1280 chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box topped with Samsung’s layer of customisation.
Samsung Galaxy A33 5G features a 6.4-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. The display is made scratch-resistant with a coating of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The dual SIM smartphone sports a quad-rear camera setup. The rear camera comprises a 48MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth sensor and 5MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. There’s also a 13MP front camera for selfies.
The smartphone packs a 5000mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.
