Nawazuddin Siddiqui honoured with Excellence in Cinema award at the French Riviera Film Festival
The 75th edition of the Cannes Film Festival has already seen many memorable moments. Among the stars attending the festival was Nawazuddin Siddiqui. While the actor, who has been a regular at the gala, walked the red carpet, that wasn’t the last of his film festival updates. After making a splash on the Cannes red carpet, the actor has now been honoured with the Excellence in Cinema award at the French Riviera Film Festival.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui was presented the award at the French Riviera Film Festival by Emmy-winning star Vincent De Paul. On the momentous occasion, the Gangs of Wasseypur actor was also snapped with Sex and the City fame Gilles Marini, Turkish star Cansel Elcin and Polish director Jaroslaw Marszewski. The actor shared pictures from the event. He captioned the post as,”Receiving the #ExcellenceInCinema Award at the #FrenchRivieraFilmFestival made the wonderful evening all the more special. Nawazuddin Siddiqui made headlines earlier at the Cannes Film Festival, where he was a part of the Indian contingent. He walked the red carpet alongside the Information and Broadcasting Minister, Anurag Thakur, musician Ricky Kej, CBFC Chief Prasoon Joshi and more. He was also snapped alongside R Madhavan, Kamal Haasan and AR Rahman.
On the acting front, Nawazuddin Siddiqui was last seen in Heropanti 2 in which he played the antagonist. He will next be seen in Tiku Weds Sheru.
