Last year, Lenovo unveiled its flagship Android tablet – the Tab P12 Pro – in the global market. Now, the company has brought it to India. The Tab P12 Pro is one of the few Android tablets eligible for the Android 12L and Android 13 developer preview. The key features of Tab P12 Pro include a 12.6-inch AMOLED display, Snapdragon 870 chipset, quad-speaker setup with Dolby Atmos support and a dual-rear camera setup.

The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro has been launched in India at a retail price of Rs 69,999. The tablet will be available for purchase through Lenovo.com, Amazon and Lenovo exclusive stores. It will soon be available at other retail offline stores.
Lenovo Tab P12 Pro: Specifications, features
The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro is 5.63mm thick and has an all-metal build. The tablet is available in a single Storm Grey colour option. It weighs 565 grams. Further, it has very narrow bezels on the front for a larger screen estate.
Lenovo’s Tab P12 Pro features a 12.6-inch AMOLED display with a WQXGA resolution of 2560×1600 pixels and a standard refresh rate of 60Hz. The AMOLED panel offers a peak brightness of 400 nits, 107 per cent NTSC colour gamut coverage, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support. Further, the display is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. Lenovo says the display uses a detailed S-Stripe RGP pixel layout to reduce grain. The AMOLED display on the Tab P12 Pro comes with low-blue light emissions certification from TUV Rheinland.
The Tab P12 Pro comes equipped with a JBL quad-speaker setup with quad-audio channels. Lenovo’s premium audio tuning team has specially tuned the speakers on the Tab P12 Pro. It also has support for Dolby Atmos. The tablet has a dual microphone array.
Under the hood, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset powers the tablet. The tablet has 8GB soldered LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage. The tablet supports storage expansion up to 1TB via a microSD card. It boasts a 10,200mAh battery, which could last up to 14.6 hours of video streaming, and there is support for 30W fast charging. The Tab P12 Pro runs Android 11 out of the box but it is eligible for Android `12L update.
Coming to the optics department, the Lenovo Tab P12 Pro has a dual-camera setup at the back. The rear camera setup comprises a 13MP primary sensor and a 5MP ultrawide unit. Meanwhile, it has an 8MP camera and a ToF sensor on the front.
The Lenovo Tab P12 Pro supports an external keyboard, which comes in the shape of a folio case and can be connected to the tablet using the four-point pogo pin. The tablet sells separately, and there is no word on its pricing yet. However, users will get a Lenovo Precision Pen 3 bundled with the tablet. The stylus auto-pairs with the tablet and can be attached to the tablet to charge it wirelessly, and it is said to offer very low latency.
