Dhanush will next be seen in Thiruchitrambalam, which is set for a theatrical release. Thiruchitrambalam, which had a few changes in its release date, has seen yet another change. The producers have reportedly changed their plans for the film’s release date, and the family drama will now be released on August 18. As a result, Dhanush will have to compete with Silambarasan at the box office, as the latter’s Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu is also aiming for the same date. Dhanush teased the release of ‘Thiruchitrambalam’ with a special motion poster to get fans excited.
Silambarasan and Dhanush’s films were previously released on the same day in 2004, when Manmadhan and Dreams clashed at the box office. So, with Thiruchitrambalam and Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, Dhanush and Silambarasan will be facing the box office for the second time, raising expectations among fans. The official release date of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, on the other hand, has yet to be announced.
Thiruchitrambalam producers recently revealed the film’s main characters and Dhanush’s first look. Dhanush will appear in and as Thiruchitrambalam, in which he reportedly plays a delivery boy.
