Tatsuki Fujimoto started the serialization of Chainsaw Man in December 2018. The mangaka released around 97 chapters that were collected in over 11 Volumes. The manga featured the story of Denji, who can transform his body parts into chainsaws after he made a deal with Pochita, a dog-shaped devil. After that, Denji joins the fight against the devils who threaten the world.
Millions of manga readers loved Chainsaw Man’s unique and fast-paced storyline. So, it’s no wonder a reputed studio like MAPPA picked up its anime adaptation. Now, the entire anime community is waiting for any news about the anime, which is scheduled to premiere around October 2022. However, there’s something else that fans are looking forward to, which is Chainsaw Man Part 2.
Yes! Chainsaw Man manga isn’t over, and Tatsuki Fujimoto confirmed last year that the manga would resume its serialization with Part 2. Initially, the author confirmed that Part 2 would begin sometime in the second half of 2022. Well, recently, Fujimoto officially confirmed that Part 2 of Chainsaw Man would start its publication on the Shonen Jump on Wednesday, July 13th, 2022. So, we’ll get to read the new chapters of the incredible manga series starting month.

Chainsaw Man Part 2 isn’t the only project Tatsuki Fujimoto is working on this year. Earlier this year, the author gave the Goodbye, Eri one-shot, which was very well received by the community. Now, Fujimoto plans to give us another short story, titled “Listen to Futu,” on July 4th.
Of course, it’s exciting that we are getting Part 2 of Chainsaw Man soon, but fans are also waiting for the anime adaptation. MAPPA only released one short PV of the anime last year, and since then, we haven’t received any information about Chainsaw Man’s production.
Fortunately, MAPPA will celebrate its 11th anniversary in July 2022, so we can expect a new full-fledged trailer for the upcoming project along with an exact release date. While there’s no way to confirm this, some online rumors state MAPPA will release a new trailer for Chainsaw Man on July 4th. But of course, we can’t be sure about it until we actually see the trailer on our screens.
