Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga fans are looking forward to reading Chapter 72 this month. Usually, the community gets some spoilers of the upcoming chapter around this time. But sadly, the manga series is on a break, so you’ll have to wait until next month to witness Code’s action plan to defeat Ada and Daemon.
Ada, Code, and Daemon successfully captured Amado from the Hidden Leaf Village. After a brief conversation, Ada gained Amado’s support and let him live; however, Code wasn’t exactly happy that Ada turned him down for Kawaki. Code then went on a rampage and promised to destroy Kawaki, but first, he had to deal with Daemon. Even with his limiters gone, Code was no match for Daemon, so it wasn’t surprising that he lost the fight. Code then left Ada and Daemon to walk on a separate path and become stronger. Now, every fan is eager to witness Kawaki, Boruto, and the Hokage making their move against Code and Ada, which we might see happen in Chapter 72.
Last month, Vjump confirmed that Boruto would go on a one-month hiatus in July, and the series will resume publication next month. The October issue of the Vjump, scheduled to come out in Japan on August 20th, 2022, will bring us Chapter 72. Manga Plus also confirmed that the chapter would be available for the international audience on Friday, August 19th, 2022, at 8 AM PT (Pacific Timing).
Generally, we get spoilers 4-5 days before the chapter’s digital release. So, you can expect some juicy leaks to surface on the internet around August 15th, but until then, you have no choice but to wait.
It’s hard to say what events will be featured in Boruto Chapter 72, but we can expect the next month’s chapter to focus on the Hidden Leaf Village. Naruto will indeed discuss a strategy with his fellow Shinobis to overcome the upcoming threat. After fighting Daemon, Code has learned his place, so we might see him working on his strength and powers. However, it’s safe to assume that we won’t see any exciting battles in the next chapter.
