Ubisoft Might Be Developing a Marvel Game Centered Around Blade

While Blade began Marvel’s foray into live-action cinema, it’s been nearly two decades since we saw the character in a film.

However, that notion will change during Phase 5 of the MCU, when Mahershala Ali will take the mantle from Wesley Snipes. And not just that, new leaks suggest that the vampire slayer will have his own video game developed by Ubisoft.

The leaks stem from a series of Instagram posts from motion capture actor Alex Martin, who recently shared some photos while working with Ubisoft in what seems to be a classic green screen background that is used to capture motion for video games.

Based on one of the Instagram posts, it’s been confirmed that the Ubisoft project in question could be in collaboration with Marvel, as the name of the iconic comic book publishers was seen on a clapperboard.

Other than that, the clapperboard also contained signs that proved the project will based around Blade. For starters, on the director slot, the name ‘B. Tariq’ can be seen. For people unaware about future MCU projects, ‘B. Tariq’ is Bassam Tariq, who will be directing the live-action Blade movie starring Mahershala Ali. Additionally, the photo motion capture actors are also shown to be standing around with huge sticks, which might translate to the katana that he has used to hunt down vampires of all kinds.

It’s unclear when the project might be announced. However, one can argue that fans might hear something about it during the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase that will take place during the D23 expo.
