The event will start at 6 pm local time and players have one hour until 7 pm local time to catch the Pokemon. During the event, Male Nidoran can be seen more often in the wild, so players will be able to catch it easily during the course of the event. You will notice that the Pokemon will appear outside their regular spawn during this event, so you shouldn’t bother a lot about looking for specific areas.
When it comes to the bonus for this event, players will be getting twice the amount of candy they usually get for the event. If you are looking to level up your Pokemon quickly, this is the best opportunity to do so as you will be easily able to accumulate a lot of candy in a short span of time. What is pivotal is the fact that this bonus applies to all Pokemon, so you shouldn’t just be focusing on catching Male Nidoran in your adventure.
Lastly, we have the shiny status of Male Nidoran. Like its female counterpart, the male version also has a shiny variant available in the game. The twist is that the shiny male version looks exactly like the female version, something that is quite fun but can pose some problems in spotting the Pokemon. As usual, shiny rates remain the same, but with the increased spawn rates, the number of shinies increases dramatically.
