TL;DR

  • Renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus have appeared online.
  • The renders show that the device will see several design changes.

As we get closer to the end of the year, one can’t help to wonder what Samsung’s next flagship phone will look like. The company tends to release its Galaxy S series of phones in either January or February. Thanks to a new leak, we now at least know what the Galaxy S23 Plus may look like.

Provided by Smartprix in collaboration with noted leaker OnLeaks, a series of renders have surfaced revealing the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus. Based on the images, it appears that the device will see a number of changes from this year’s handset.

According to Smartprix, the device will feature a three-camera setup in the back. Although the placement is similar to the S22 Plus, it seems the camera island is gone. Instead, the sensors take on a raindrop design, similar to the current S22 Ultra.

Another change appears to be the handset’s size. Where the S22 Plus measurements come in at 157.4 x 75.8 x 7.6mm, the S23 Plus dimensions will be 157.7 x 76.1 x 7.6mm and will have a 6.6-inch screen claims Smartprix.

Finally, it looks as if there won’t be any changes to the selfie camera’s punch hole design, the USB-C port, or the speakers. However, the renders don’t show a SIM tray, which is found at the bottom of the S22 Plus. But the folks over at Smartprix say they believe a SIM tray will likely be present on the actual device.

This has been a heavy month for leaks; we’ve seen details from both Google and Apple pop up recently. It’s only fitting that we’d get a leak from Samsung as well.
