EA, Koei Tecmo, and Dynasty Warrior-Maker, Omega Force Launch the Reveal Trailer for Their Monster-Hunting Game

EA and Dynasty Warriors developers Omega Force have finally unveiled the first reveal trailer for their Monster Hunter-style game, Wild Hearts.

The title was first announced earlier this month by publishers EA and Koei Tecmo, who joined forces to create the “next great hunting game” based in fantasy feudal Japan.

The first footage of the title showcases the rich environment of Azuma, which has been inhabited by several nature-infused beasts called Kemono for players to conquer.

While defeating beasts sounds like a fun idea, players will need a ton of crafting to help them out in this endeavor, as they will be equipped with Karakuri, which are sophisticated mechanisms from an ancient technology.

In the press release from Electronic Arts, Yosuke Hayashi, the Executive Vice President of Koei Tecmo shared how important the crafting element is to the game.

The game’s story revolves around the once peaceful Kemono of Azuma, who have caused havoc. With the help of the Karakuri, players are tasked to restore balance, as they go hunting for beasts.

Players can take part in the missions alone or bring two of their friends with three player co-op. The title will be available on platforms like PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC from February 17, 2023 with crossplay enabled.

To know more about Wild Hearts, EA will be showcasing an extended gameplay reveal on October 5.
