Sony PlayStation 5 Is Jailbroken 2 Years After the Launch; Playstation Stars Rumoured to Have a Hidden Diamond-Tier

After two whole years of the PlayStation 5 being released, it seems that the next generation console has finally been jailbroken. Essentially players will be able to hack the system and assume complete access over the console. The PS5 IPV6 Kernel exploit has been been released and played on version 4.03 can jailbreak their PlayStation 5. At the moment it isn’t completely stable and works around 30% of the time, but the stability will increase over time. Players will now have complete customisation control over their PlayStation 5 and can change its appearance through mods. Thanks to the jailbreak, players will be able to play almost any game for free, try out games from previous generations on the PlayStation 5, mod games freely and also customise their UI. Well having all these benefits does have some drawbacks too, players will void their warranty, will no be able to play online or converse with friends online, they could also get banned for jailbreaking their PlayStation 5. PlayStation Stars is the new loyalty program for PlayStation that was introduced recently. Through this loyalty program, players will be able to earn rewards and complete campaigns to unlock rare digital collectibles. Through this program players can showcase their gaming skills and be rewarded for it, and these collectibles will be stored in a digital display case on the PlayStation App.

There are supposed to be 4 tiers for this loyalty program, but according to the latest leak spotted on r/GamingLeakAndRumours, it seems there may be a 5th hidden tier. This hidden tier will only be accessible through invites and will be the ‘Diamond Tier’. Players that reach this level will be rewarded with a legendary grade collectible called Level 5 Diorama – Bots Don’t Breathe.

The description for the rewards reads, ” In an endless sea of stars, it seems like there’s nowhere to hide. But you wouldn’t be here if you let challenges like that stop you. Welcome to Level 5″. We still do not know what are the requirements that the players will have to meet to be invited to the Diamond tier.
