Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Oppo has expanded its budget smartphone lineup and added one more device to its A-series with the launch of the Oppo A17 in India. It has a 6.56-inch HD+ screen with a water drop notch that houses a 5MP front-facing camera.

The smartphone is priced at Rs 12,499 and is available for purchase from online and offline stores in India. It comes in Sunlight Orange and Midnight Black colour options.

The budget smartphone sports a 6.56-inch HD+ display and offers a resolution of 1612×720 pixels. It is powered by a 12nm Octa Core MediaTek Helio G35 chipset coupled with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU.
The Oppo A17 packs 4GB RAM and 64GB internal memory which is expandable up to 256GB with a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1.
The budget smartphone has a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP camera and a 2MP depth sensor. It houses a 5MP front-facing camera for video calls and selfies. The phone features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
