The gaming and Indian film fraternity meshed in a way unlike no other, when celebrated director S.S. Rajamouli met popular game designer Hideo Kojima.

The two recently met at Hideo’s studio in Kojima Productions, where Rajamouli came bearing gifts for the director behind games like Death Stranding, P.T., Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain and more.

Photos of the meetup were shared by Kojima through his Twitter account in a post, which featured an image of the two shaking hands. Furthermore, we also got a look at Rajamouli’s gift for Kojima in a signed poster of the director’s latest blockbuster in RRR, which was watched by the latter few months ago. The film has garnered rave reviews from international media, making it one of the few Indian films to be a global phenomenon.

In return for all the gifts he received, Kojima face scanned Rajamouli in his studio, and it will be interesting to see whether the Japanese director has any plans to introduce a character with the looks of the Indian filmmaker in any of his future titles.

While Rajamouli will soon begin shooting for his next Indian project, the director of films like Baahubali: The Beginning and Magadheera recently signed with Hollywood agency CAA, and it will be intriguing to see whether the star of Indian filmmaking has any plans to create a Western film with his grand visions of action and drama.
