Acer on Tuesday has launched its latest gaming laptop, the Predator Triton 700, in India. The main highlight of the laptop is its ultratin premium body and top-end specifications. The laptop comes with the price tag of Rs. 2,99,999 and will be available to purchase through Acer Exclusive Stores and authorised online stores in India.
To recall, the laptop was first unveiled at the company’s [email protected] event in New York this April. The Acer Predator Triton 700 sports a 15.6” full-HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS LCD display with LED backlighting, 300-nit brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate, 170-degree viewing angles, with optional support for Nvidia’s G-Sync tech. It is powered by a seventh generation Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor, coupled with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 GPU. It offers 16GB of 2400MHz DDR4 RAM which is upgradable to 32GB and two 512GB NVMe PCIe SSDs.
The Acer Predator Triton 700 comes with Dolby Atmos surround sound and Acer TrueHarmony technologies on the laptop deliver a better audio experience. Further, Acer claims the Predator Triton 700 to be the world’s thinnest, fastest, and quietest gaming laptop with 18.9 mm-thin (0.74 inches) aluminium chassis.
Complementing the machine is a mechanical keyboard which features RGB backlit keys that can be individually programmed. There’s Corning Gorilla Glass plate above the keyboard which functions as a precision touchpad and also gives a peek into the notebook’s cooling system.
On the connectivity front, the Acer Predator Triton 700 comes with Killer DoubleShot Pro networking and Thunderbolt 3 connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac with 2×2 MIMO technology, Bluetooth v4.1, two USB 3.0 ports (featuring power-off USB charging), one USB 2.0 port, an HDMI 2.0 port, one DisplayPort connector, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.
