When it comes to kids with celebrity parents, the question of whether or not they will follow suit and join the film industry always tends to linger. At present, all eyes are on Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s daughter Nysa who turned 19 just this month. Is she set to make her Bollywood debut any time soon? Ajay has shared his thoughts on the subject.
In a recent interview, Ajay Devgn was asked about his daughter Nysa’s Bollywood debut. The actor said that he sees no compulsion for Nysa to choose a career in the entertainment industry and shared that he doesn’t intend to ask his children to follow any particular path.
In another interaction with a leading publication earlier this month, Ajay Devgn had said, “I don’t know if she wants to come into this line.” He added, “To this moment she has shown disinterest. Anything can change anytime with children.”
Nysa is currently studying International Hospitality in Switzerland at the Glion Institute of Higher Education.
Recently, star kids are making headlines for announcing their Bollywood debuts. Among the names being mentioned are Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan and Shanaya Kapoor – the daughter of Sanjay and Maheep Kapoor. Joining the list as an unlikely addition is Sachin Tendulkar’s daughter Sara Tendulkar.
At present, Ajay Devgn is promoting his upcoming film Runway 34 which arrives in theatres on April 29. The action-thriller film will see him play a skilled pilot Vikrant Khanna navigating rough skies. It also features Amitabh Bachchan and Rakul Preet Singh. Devgn is fresh off his OTT debut with Rudra: The Edge of darkness, the Hindi adaptation of the British drama Luther that starred Idris Elba.
