Popular Bollywood singer KK’s death has shocked the entertainment industry and his fans alike. The singing sensation was in Nazrul Mancha in South Kolkata, performing at a college event. Post which it was reported that he was seen in a lot of discomfort and was rushed out of the venue to his hotel room where he collapsed.

Now some latest updates are surfacing that state the Police have been checking CCTV footage to get a better understanding of the situation that unfolded.

A close source to the event who was a staff member at the Nazrul Mancha Auditorium has also shared that the venue was severely overcrowded. To make space, the bouncers had to supposedly spray foam.

He was quoted saying, “There was very much a huge crowd. People were jumping over the barricade and gate. However, nothing happened inside the auditorium. He (KK) was feeling unwell. He took a break and performed again.”

The complaint regarding the massive gathering at KK’s last performance is circling amidst many other facts being reported.

West Bengal’s Chief Minister has ordered for a gun salute to be given to the singing legend as reported by ANI News,  “West Bengal Government to give gun salute to singer #KK at Kolkata airport.”

According to a PTI report, a police official has further shared, “We have started an investigation into singer KK’s death and a case of unnatural death has been registered with the New Market Police Station. We are talking to the hotel authorities and scrutinising CCTV footage to understand what had happened before he was taken to the hospital.”
