Dual cameras, triple cameras, that’s how smartphone manufacturers battle for their flagships, camera is a great point. Just after a lot of series of new smartphones being launched every year, here is another advancement that was allegedly showing Nokia’s smartphone step-up.
Just recently, rumors have spread about the design of the Nokia 9 with Zeiss’ patented camera technology being applied. The leaked image originally from Baidu shows the back panel of Nokia’s upcoming smartphone with six different holes. It is speculated that one of the holes will contain a LED flash as can be seen from the leaked image. The remaining holes were expected to contain the image sensors.
The exact Penta camera setup isn’t yet revealed, however, thinking about Zeiss’ patent, we can expect the same design as with Penta lens camera setup rotating around a fixed optical setup capturing a more accurate picture. The algorithms using this setup will require the different camera sensors to produce a high-end picture output.
The front panel design of the device isn’t revealed, but we can see the latest smartphones being launched having a very thin bezel, with a glass screen having an in-display fingerprint sensor. The new Nokia 9 might have these screen design scheme as well.
One of the other detail that we must take note is the Android One branding put towards the bottom of the panel, which is just realistic to expect that Nokia 9 will have the latest Android 9 pie, and will feature an advanced voice command which can be seen to the previous Android operating systems like Lollipop and Marshmallow.
Even though the pictures might be really promising, we must be cautious as this leaked image isn’t yet confirmed. But since the original source has deleted the image, we can think that the leaked image and speculations might resemble the real design.
