Amitabh Bachchan makes a Twitter confirmation of his grandson Agastya Nanda’s debut with The Archies
Having a Bollywood debut with ace director Zoya Akhtar is indeed a dream. She has a unique art of storytelling that she crafts with every film she makes. The most anticipated one is the recently confirmed live-action musical – The Archies – all set to hit the OTT platform with a debut lead cast roped in for the production.
As per reports, the fresh cast has Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson – Agastya Nanda, Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter – Suhana Khan, and Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi Kapoor in the lead, playing the roles of Archie, Veronica, and Betty respectively.
Yesterday, proud grandfather – Amitabh Bachchan took to Twitter, where he gave all his blessings to his grandson on embarking upon this new journey.
It was a tweet shared by a fan on this upcoming project which was later on re-shared by Amitabh Bachchan with a caption saying, “Agastya… A new chapter begins in your life and there cannot be greater joy among us all. My blessings my love and my wishes ever .. Do well .. and keep the flag flying.”
Even though there has been no official announcement made by the cast or crew of this upcoming venture, the trio was clicked recently as they went for a screen-test. Zoya Akhtar had announced that The Archies is in the making, however, the cast has not been confirmed yet by the makers.
Needless to say, Amitabh Bachchan’s tweet is quite the confirmation that everyone is waiting for about this much-anticipated comic-inspired musical.
