The all-new entry-level iPad is here. The Cupertino-based tech giant has announced the 10th-generation iPad. The new iPad comes with a major redesign since it first debuted in 2010. The iPad now features symmetrical bezels — the all-screen design — similar to other iPad models. Along with that, it also comes with A14 Bionic chipset. Another noticeable change is the new puncy and vibrant colour options.

Apple has launched the new iPad in four colour options — blue, pink, yellow and silver. The iPad, as always, comes in two variant — Wi-Fi and Cellular. The Wi-Fi version price starts at Rs 44,900, while the Wi-Fi+ Cellular variant is priced starting at Rs 59,900.
The new iPad is now available to pre-order starting October 18 via apple.com/store and Apple Store app in 28 countries. And, it is set to go on sale starting October 26.

The new iPad supports the Magic Keyboard Folio, which will be sold separately for Rs 24,900 and will come in white colour. If you don’t want the keyboard, then the new Smart Folio comes in white, sky, watermelon and lemonade colour options for Rs 8,500.

The new Apple iPad features an all-new design that resembles the other recently launched iPad models, like the iPad Air and iPad mini. It also comes with a bigger 10.9-inch Liquid Retina display with all-screen design and 2360×1640-pixel resolution, 500-nits of peak brightness and True Tone technology. The previous generation iPad featured a 10.2-inch display
The new iPad is powered by Apple A14 Bionic chipset, the same chip that powered iPhone 12 series smartphones. The iPad also ditched the home button design and gets the side-mounted Touch ID – a feature found in the iPad Air and the iPad mini.
Apple has also updated the rear camera, which has a 12MP sensor and the front camera is also a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. The Centre Stage feature – designed to improve FaceTime calls – comes to the entry-level iPad for the first time. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, USB Type-C port and 5G support
