Arjun Reddy Aluguvelli of Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir School (Dharavi) produced a fighting display to overcome a determined Harshit Mahimkar of The Blossom ST English HS (New Marine Lines). Arjun emerged a 15-11, 15-12 winner in the boys’ U-14 quarter-final match of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) inter-school badminton tournament, organised by the Greater Mumbai Badminton Association at the Bombay Gymkhana courts on Thursday.
Meanwhile, Pranit Somani of Billabong High (Malad) cruised past Pravit Sahu of Orchids (Malad) 15-5, 15-7 victory to advance to the penultimate round.
