On Tuesday, Taiwanese handset maker Asus has announced the Asus Zenfone 4 Max, the phone has been announced for the Russian market at a starting price of RUB 13,900 ($ 235/Rs 15,200 approx). As of now there is no word on its international availability. It will be available in Black, Gold and Pink color variants.
The new ZenFone 4 Max (ZC554KL) is said to be one of the first out of the five ZenFone models expected to launch this month.
The main highlights of the smartphone are dual rare camera setup and a massive 5000mAh battery. Company claims that it can give up to 46 days of standby time on LTE network and up to 22 hours of video playback. The phone comes with a 10W power charger, which can give up to 3 hours of talk time on 15-minute of charge. And can be used as a power bank as well.
Now jump on specification, the Asus Zenfone 4 Max runs on ZenUI based on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system and sports a 5.5” IPS display with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) screen resolution. The phone also comes with the protection of 2.5D Gorilla Glass. The smartphone comes in two variants: one is powered by 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, while the other one is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor. The phone also offers different RAM and storage options, it comes with 2GB RAM /16GB storage variant, 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant, and 4GB RAM /64GB storage variant. The storage can be further expanded up to 256Gb via micro SD card slot.
In terms of photography, the Asus Zenfone 4 Max sports a dual camera setup on the back which includes two 13MP sensors with an f/2.0 aperture along with LED flash, 120-degree wide-angle lens and EIS, on the front end there is an 8MP front facing camera with with f/2.2 aperture, 85-degree wide-angle lens and soft LED flash.
Connectivity options of Asus Zenfone 4 Max includes dual-SIM support, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, dual-SIM and microUSB port. It comes with a fingerprint sensor as well. The device measures 154 x 76.9 x 8.9 mm and weighs 181 grams.
