Nick Kyrgios has undergone knee surgery to fix the issue that ruled him out of the Australian Open.

The 27-year-old Aussie was forced to withdraw from the tournament on the eve of his first match.

His physio explained there was a cyst in his knee that had to be drained, and Kyrgios later posted a graphic image proving the extent of the drama.
