St George Illawarra winger Madison Bartlett has been referred straight to the NRLW judiciary for allegedly biting an opponent.

Bartlett is accused of biting the arm of Parramatta five-eighth Sereana Naitokatoka during yesterday’s rain-soaked Round 2 clash at Wollongong’s WIN Stadium.

The Dragons had forced a dropout, when Bartlett carried the ball back and was met by Naitokatoka and another Eels player.

While on the ground, the Eels will allege Bartlett bit the arm of the tackler (watch the video above).

Naitokatoka has also been charged from the same tackle, for dangerous contact to the head and neck of Bartlett. She has only been warned, though, and faces no penalty.

Bartlett will now front the judiciary, which is expected to sit tomorrow night, to learn her fate. Charges that are referred directly to the judiciary are generally considered serious in nature and attract hefty suspensions if proved.

From the same game, Dragons player Kody House is accused of a shoulder charge on Naitokatoka.

House can accept a one-game ban, or risk a two-game ban if she fights it and loses.

The Dragons won the game 10-0.
