Today’s camera features have made their step into a new leap, and this is where mirror-less cameras were introduced. Sony is one of the first tech company to jump into the advancement leaving away Canon and Nikon DSLR cameras. Nikon also made their move to launch Z6 and Z7 models, both were mirror-less cameras, and just about a days ago, leaks and rumors were crawling all over the internet about Canon’s step-up.

Today, Canon just launched their Canon EOS R Full-Frame Mirro-less camera. The announcement was made at an event held in Tokyo, Japan. Just a great timing since there were leaks and reactions spread all over the internet that gained different opinions and all the other companies have made their way into the bandwagon. And now that it is all set, it is now Canon’s opportunity to compete with its rivals.

Canon EOS R has a 30.3MP full-frame CMOS sensor with Dual Pixel AF. This also includes  large AF coverage (100% vertical and 88% horizontal), EV -6 low light autofocus, 4K video recording, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a mic jack, a headphone jack, a dustproof and drip-proof magnesium body, and the use of an LP-E6N battery, a great spec for a different range of camera lovers.  These hardware specs that Canon EOS R have can be a promising one to be one of the leading brand catering the new age of mirror-less cameras.

The Canon EOS R will be available for $2,299 body-only or $3,399 with the 24-105mm lens this October, and preorders will be available starting on the 12th of September.  The EF-M 32mm f/1.4 STM that costs $500 will arrive in September, and the RF 50mm f/1.2 L will go up $2,299 this October 2018.  The RF 28-70mm f/2 lens that is $2,999 and the RF24-105 F/4 L IS USM lens costing $1,099 will both arrive in December, 2018.
