Carol Vorderman’s incredible figure took centre-stage in a series of Instagram uploads today.

The 62-year-old gave her 328,000 followers a glimpse into her full-on work-out with her personal trainer, Mel Deane.

The former Countdown regular told fans she was “getting stronger now”.

Wearing her blonde tresses down, Carol’s toned midriff was impossible to miss in a cropped black top.

The clingy, long-sleeved number featured cut-out detailing at the side, and was worn with matching tight leggings.

Carol appeared to be going make-up free for the session, while enjoying some time off from her weekly, BBC Radio Wales programme.

Her update featured three clips of her exercising and another celebrating her gym triumph.

Mel, who is also thought to have worked with the likes of Jamie Dornan, Niall Horan and the Ferdinands, could be heard encouraging her over Zoom.

She captioned them: “Saturday sesh. Definitely getting stronger now. Weights going up a bit.

“An hour of sweating via zoom with @meldeane12 in the lovely @the.gymset.”(sic)

Carol continued: “Back tomoz. Yessssssssssss.

“Tell you what, it gives you a kick and a half and you feel like you can do anything in the world all day long.”(sic)

Retired javelin thrower Fatima Whitbread commented: “Proud of you my friend! Lots of love xx.”

The presenter replied: “Awwwww thanks Fats x I’m back on it. God it gives me a great day after. See you soon.”

While University Challenge favourite Bobby Seagull stated: “Always inspiring Carol.”

Speaking about growing more confident with age, Carol previously told MailOnline: “It’s the weights you need as you get older because I’m quite happy with my body weight.

“I don’t actually know what I weigh but I’m happy, I don’t need to go on a diet or anything like that.”
